Dear BiblioTech Patrons: Along with many other libraries across the country, BiblioTech has temporarily closed its branches and suspended branch operations, including device circulation. We hope to be up and running with business as usual very soon. In the meantime, we are still here for you!
BiblioTech is dedicated to our communities and we will continue to serve Bexar County in our best capacity. As an all-digital public library, we are well equipped to meet the needs of these challenging times. We are available to you online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through our website at bexarbibliotech.org.
You will find on our website:
- Current, reliable information about COVID-19
- Access to educational enrichment resources for students and families at BiblioTechEDU
- Assistance and answers to your questions available on our Live Chat feature – now with expanded hours noon to midnight M-F and 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. You can also always email us at [email protected]
Beginning Monday, March 23, BiblioTech will begin our new themed reading journey, Pub Hub. Each week, we will post on our website, a curated collection of related material – e-books, e-audio books, both fiction and non-fiction, movies, music and other content designed specifically to address your needs for information and relaxation during the pandemic. We will have the opportunity to connect with one another through our Pub Hub Facebook group and share reactions to the week’s material, thoughts and suggestions about coping with COVID-19. We hope you will participate in what we hope will be a very helpful and unique opportunity for self-care and collaboration.
Our first Pub Hub collection is focused on Stress Relief.
Thank you for your support of our library and be assured that I will continue to keep you updated with news of BiblioTech operations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected].
Laura Cole, BiblioTech Director
