Braulia Carrillo joined BiblioTech June 2021 as Programming Librarian. She looks forward to meeting the community and developing programs that are both educational and exciting. As a retired public-school administrator and most recently a children’s librarian she understands the importance of literacy especially for those who are underserved. Literacy has been her passion throughout her life. She remembers reading the same book over and over as a child because that was her only book. The exciting thing about BiblioTech is that because it has a digital platform anyone can have access to thousands of books and other resources. Knowledge is Power! San Antonio has been home for her, her husband and daughter. She enjoys, camping, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
