Article Date
February 20, 2020

Come join us for the first ever BiblioTech Makers Expo! It will be held on Saturday, February 29, at The Neighborhood Place on 3014 Rivas St. from 11am to 3pm.

At BiblioTech, we are always striving to inspire ingenuity and brilliance amongst the citizens of Bexar County. We hope this Makers Expo will do just that, by bringing some of the most innovative makers together to showcase their work in our community. We will be featuring local artists, woodworkers, welders, robotics groups, computer programmers and makerspaces. We hope that by displaying their work, we can embolden the creative spirit of our fellow citizens.

This event is free and open to the public, and will be hosted at The Neighborhood Place to benefit the South, West and East sides of town. We believe this event will benefit everyone, and give you a chance to see what kind of great work is going on all around you! You might also get inspired--come see what the possibilities are in terms of career opportunities and hobbies. Get that side hustle you were always talking about off the ground! Then, once the Expo is over, be sure to check out our amazing active learning resources where you can advance your skills even more. Universal Class and The Great Courses have some fantastic information and are perfect for all the Bexar County makers out there!
