Fall into a Good Book

Fall into a good book with BiblioTech
Article Date
October 25, 2019

Excellent news, San Antonio...Fall has arrived! We always love to read here at BiblioTech, but it is especially great to "fall" into a good read! Whether you are a romance reader, a mystery fan or a nonfiction buff, we have great options for you.

Check out the amazing book picks on the BiblioTech cloudLibrary app Fall Shelf. There are also several different horror and mystery shelves to celebrate the spooky season. All definitely worth a look!

On our Hoopla app, we have a variety of fun Fall and Halloween reads. Check out a throwback, like this classic Edgar Allan Poe ebook or this fun Boxcar Kid audio mystery you may remember from childhood. We also have the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel: Hellmouth comic series available.

Our BiblioBoard app features many timely shelves, including Fall into a Good Read for kids and and a Killer Thrillers for adults.

Looking for more fall reading inspiration? Good Housekeeping has a list of 20 fall reads online, and you can also download the most recent issue of Good Housekeeping right from our RBdigital app. You can also find some great fall inspiration from other RBdigital magazines. Food Network Magazine and Taste of Home can give you Thanksgiving menu inspiration. Also, Backpacker has a list of great fall hikes.

Don't forget to check out the fun fall activities around town, too. This weekend, BiblioTech will be at the 7th Annual Día de los Muertos at Hemisfair. This free event will include music, food, art, poetry and more. Stop by our booth to play Loteria, interact with some of our cool tech and get signed up for a BiblioTech card. Next weekend, don't miss Diwali San Antonio. This “Festival of Lights” celebrates Indian culture and traditions by featuring traditional dance, entertainment, food and booths selling goods from various parts of India. Later in November, be sure to check out Luminaria, the arts festival, and then the San Antonio Food Bank's Turkey Trot (you can listen to one of our audiobooks while you run!).

Happy Fall, y'all!
