Did you know that you can check out tablets, wifi hotspots and playaway launch pads from any of our BiblioTech Library branches?
Well, it's true!
BiblioTech Public Library offers kindle fires, samsung galaxy tab 4, and playaway launch pads for checkout!
Here is what you need to know in order to check a device out:
Make sure to call ahead of time to make a reservation for a device.
Our branches are currently open M-F from 12pm to 8pm. If you cannot reach us by phone, feel free to email us at [email protected].
Here are all the library branches phone number to call too:

- BiblioTech South: 210-631-0180
- BiblioTech West: 210-631-0190
Need to know the lending periods?
For Adults: Kindle fires - patrons get a total of 3 weeks, plus 1 renewal.
For children: Playaway Launch Pads & Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - patrons get a total of 3 weeks, plus 1 renewal.
For WIFI Hotspots - patrons get a total of 3 weeks. (After 3 weeks, devices would need to be checked in and if patrons would like to check it out again, then their lending library would need to check for availablity.)
It is so amazing that Bexar BiblioTech Public Library offers these opportunities to their county residents and all for FREE!
