We hope all the Bexar County teachers, students and parents are having a good back-to-school experience! We know that 2020 is a strange year with new and different learning practices, but we want all teachers, students and parents to know that we are here to support you.
First of all, if you don't have a BiblioTech Public Library card yet and you need one, you can register for one online.
We know that, sometimes, the email with your card number is blocked by different school spam filters. If you register online and don't receive your card number within five minutes of submitting your registration, please either chat with us (green box on the bottom left of the screen), call one of our branch locations or send an email to [email protected] that includes your full name, address and birth date. We will look up your information and respond as soon as possible with your card number!
At BiblioTech, we have many different apps and resources that can be used in the classroom. If you are a teacher looking for help with navigating our resources, check out BiblioTech EDU, where we have classroom sets by grade level and more. We are also happy to help you find just the right resources for your students. You can send us an email or call us about what you're looking for, whether that is to request a new set of classroom books or find the perfect primary source.
For parents, we offer tech help via our chat service (the green bubble at the bottom left hand of the page). If you're having trouble with a Zoom meeting or can't log into Google Classroom, let us know! You can also give us a call. We are happy to try and troubleshoot with you. We also offer different active learning resources, and much more, including internet hotspots.
For students, if you have an assignment that requires the use of our resources and you're having difficulty, let us know! You can chat with us, email us or give us a call. We want to help you succeed.
