BiblioTech Public Library offers 3D printing for their patrons!

Interested in creating a small figure? Been wanting to know more about 3D printers and how they work?

Or maybe you've had something in mind that's just been waiting to be formed!

Well, look no further!

The BiblioTech West Library branch has two 3D printers!

One is a Makerbot Replicator and the other, and newest edition, is the Raise3D's Pro 3 Plus.

The Specs:

Each printer has specific dimentions by which they are limited in printing too.

The Makerbot Replicator has a build volume of 6.5"x7.6". The slicing software used to configure prints is called, Makerbot Print. It also has a flexible build plate, Smart Extruder, and a full-color LCD display, with Wi-Fi connectivity and so much more!

While the Raise3D's Pro 3 Plus has a build volume of 11.8"x11.8" The slifcing software used to configure prints is called ideaMaker. It is fully enclosed, has dual extrusion which allows users to print using two different materials at once. It also includes an EVE smart assistant, an HD camera which allows userst to monitor their prints, and so much more!

How to Start Printing:

Patrons can print pre-designed prints by visiting websites such as Thinkgiverse, Cults, CGTrader, Printables, and more. Additionally, patrons can design their own 3D models by using websites/software such as TinkerCad and Fusion 360.

All ages are welcome to print and is absolutely FREE!

Each patron is limited on how many they can print. Prints are limited to 2 prints per month per person.

We ask that patrons give the branch 3-5 business days to print their items. Once it is printed we will contact you by phone or e-mail.

And that's it!

Also! Printing Clubs!

Checkout our 3D Printing Clubs! Where patrons of all ages can come and learn how to use 3D printers and print out their own creations!
