Jesse Garcia has been with BiblioTech since the summer of 2013.  In his current position as Branch Manager of BiblioTech West, he oversees staff operations, program development, inventory, and patron experience. He enjoys working for the library because he gets an opportunity to strengthen the community through technology and literacy. Jesse's interests include video games, music, and his dog, Ted.

Laura Cole has been with BiblioTech since the very beginning, or 2012. She is responsible for the development and overall operations of BiblioTech. Laura enjoys running, reading, cooking, bad jokes and her family.

Malena Martinez is the branch manager for BiblioTech’s Eastside branch. A San Antonio native, Malena also grew up on the city’s Westside and graduated from Lanier High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. She has worked for BiblioTech since the first branch opened in the fall of 2013. She is proud to serve the community in which she was raised and enjoys helping patrons access the tools and resources they need to succeed. 

Megan Cuellar has been with the BiblioTech team since late 2019 and is excited about her new position as Technical Support Specialist II. She loves assisting the BiblioTech community and is passionate about incorporating new technology that will serve BiblioTech to further reach all communities in San Antonio. In her spare time she enjoys reading, attending concerts and being with family and friends.

Olivia Escovedo is the branch manager for BiblioTech’s EDU branch. She looks forward to working with teachers, students, and the community in this hybrid environment. As a former ESL teacher and children’s librarian, she likes working with patrons of all ages and helping them with their library needs. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in bilingual education and moved to San Antonio to start her teaching career. After a few years in education, she switched careers and went to earn her library degree from Texas Woman’s University.  San Antonio has been her and her husband’s home for eight years. She enjoys going out for coffee, traveling, cooking, watching old movies, and spending time with her husband and cat.

Patrick was born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio. He started at BiblioTech in the summer of 2021 at BiblioTech East before transferring to our BiblioTech EDU branch following a promotion to Lead Technical Center Assistant. In his downtime, Patrick enjoys video games, going to the gym, and collecting fine art.

Rebecca joined BiblioTech in 2021 and is currently one of the Lead Technical Center Assistants at BiblioTech EDU. She is in the process of getting her masters in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University, but when she is not doing school work she likes to relax by spending time with her family or playing video games.
